colvin: Christopher and his work rely upon experimentation, reverence and dedication and he has been described as having relentless ambition. Colvin is committed to realizing oils as a viable and sensual medium in a climate of digital obsession, although digital manipulation is embraced in his mixed media work. Christopher has had exhibits in San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Brooklyn and Manhattan and his paintings are in private collections domestically and internationally. Christopher' latest exhibit was at The Furman Gallery Lincoln Center. Prior solo show was at the 2/20 gallery (220 west 16 street New York, NY 10011) and featured abstract landscape and cityscape works with New York City as central theme. This show ran March 2010. Last year Christopher showed alongside Richard Serra, Nan Goldin and others in SoHo for the 5th Annual Art Auction in support of the Mental Health Project NYC and he is happy to say he has been invited back for the Sixth annual MHP SoHo auction. All works sold. Christopher has also shown at the National Arts Club NYC. Frieda and Roy Furman Gallery Lincoln Center in association with African Film Festival inc. NYC March 2011
