bright city

Thanks for dropping by! Below please see the newest cityscape "Bright City". This little painting was done with a buyer in mind here in New York. Big City living equals small city paintings. With space at an absolute premium I have been trying to work on a smaller scale more often. I have in the pipeline a couple of nighttime city's which I look forward to sharing with you later in the year. I have ordered my stretched linen from the amazing Pedro and I look forward to starting this next series.
I will continue to do my birds and other mythical creatures for my own sanity on the side but the next show at 2/20 gallery ( tentative dates last two weeks of March 2010) will be a bit more homogeneous. I think the basic theme will be 'new abstracts' and I will trim down the overall girth of the show limiting it to 10 or so pieces. More on that later.
So, please enjoy the new little painting below and stay in touch...
